YEAR 1974 AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRLAWN:

Section 2:
The amounts se~ out in the foregoing section are for the calendar
year 1974 and are hereby declared to be inclusive of the several
amounts set out in the temporary budget, Ordinance 19 74-18. The
Finance Director shall make such book adjustments as are proper
to r~lect any changes in account numbers or designations made
by this ordinance.

Section
The several funds of the City are hereby appropriated to the
uses and accounts se~ ou~ in Secgton 1 hereof, and the Finance
Director of ~his City is hereby au~horized to draw his warrants
for payments f~om any of the £oregoir~ appropriations upon
receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefor approved
as provided in Ordinance 1974-76, or on ordinance of the
Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants
shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons
employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance.
Section
This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure
necessary to the health, safety and welfare of the City and
its inhabitants for the reason that it is necessary to preserve
the good credit of the City and enable it lawfully and promptly
to meet its obligations, and therefore it shall be in full
force and effect from and after its enactment.
