1972-133 OrdinanceORDINANCE NO. 1972 - 133 Offered by: COUNCILMAN BARTELSTONE ESTABLISHING THE EASTMAN-MIDDLETON REPORT AS THE PRIMARY OPERATING MANUAL FOR THE SAFETY DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF FAIRLAWN AND PROVIDING FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SAME. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRLAWN: Section 1: Whereas the Eastman Middleton report of 1972 has established a responsible plan for the operation and growth of the Safety Forces of the City, the said report is adopted by the City as the primary operating manual for the Safety Department of F air 1 awn. Section 2: The Safety Director is directed to implement said manual in a manner consistent with his authority and in keeping with the needs of the City. Provisions of the Eastman Middleton report which may be modified or changed, must be authorized in writing by the Safety Director to the Chief of Police, with copy to the Safety Committee of Council. Section 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its enactment. Passed September 11, 1972 William F.
