APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM
THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
FUND OF THE INCOME TAX FUND
FOR VARIOUS AND SUNDRY
IMPROVEMENTS TO THE STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS OF THE CITY
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRLAWN:
Section 1: There is hereby appropriated from the portion of
the income tax fund allocated to capital improvements
the sum of $16,000.00 for payment for improvements
to the streets and highways of the City heretofore
charged as an interim entry to the H & I budget
accounts.
Section 2: This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
measure necessary to the public health and safety
for the reason that the street improvements referred
., to are required for the continued safety of the
traveling public, and for the further reason that
payment therefor. and for other obligations properly
chargeable to the H & I accounts must at all times
be propmptly met to preserve the good credit of the
City, and it shall therefore be in full force and
effect immediately upon its enactment and approval
by the Mayor.
