APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM
THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
FUND OF THE INCOME TAX FUND
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF
THE NORTH PARK
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRLAWN:
Section 1: There is hereby appropriated from the portion of
the income tax fund allocated to capital improvements
the sum of $68,800.00 for construction of improve-
ments heretofore authorized for the public park
at North Miller Road and Sand Run Parkway (heretofore
generally referred to as the "North Park"~
Section 2- This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
measure necessary to the public health and welfare
for the reason that improvements now under construc-
tion and contracted for are immediately required to
supply healthful recreation to the residents of the
City, and for the further reason that payments due
· , and to become due for such improvements must be
promptly met in order to preserve the good credit
of the City, and it shall therefore be in full force
and effect immediately upon its enactment and approval
by the Mayor.
