ED BY- COUNCIL?~AN .~OORE AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING ..~, CONTRACT WITH SIGNAL SERVICE CO~PANY OF ~,4A..RRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OHIO: SETTING CONDITIONS A3~D SERVICES TO BE RENDERED: DETERMINING COMPENSATION TO BE PAID AND DECLARING AN E.~ERGENCY. Section 1' Section 2' Section ~: Section 4' oection 5' Section 6' WHEREAS, the Siznal Service Company of Warrensville has submitted a bid to supply the services required in maintaining the traffic signals within the City' and for the years 197.1 to 1972. WHEREAS, the Road Committee has examined into the qualifications, reputation~ personnel, and equipment and has recommended acceptance of said bid, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Fairlawn Summi~ County, Ohio' That a contract by and between the City of Fairlawn and the Signal Service Company of Wamrensville HeiMhts Ohio~ for the maintenance and servicing of the traffic signal lights within the City of Fairlawn pursuant to the bid and quotation of said company be and the same is he.r. cby authorized and approved. That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer be and they are hereby designated to execute said contract on behalf of the City in accordance with the Sections succeedin~ That the services and conditions to be provided and mendered shall be as follows' a. To relamp all signals within the City and to replace any normal burned out lamp for the original period of one year at a compensation of $6.44.04, b. Replace any visor or lens found defective fit at a compensation equal to the cost of said visor or lens. c. Ail service and maintenance including emergency calls for defective or burned out lamps and signal equipment at a compensation of $9.50 pep hour based upon a portal to portal basis. Ail service to be provided upon a work order issued by the City Road Commissioner or upon authority of Chief of Police. That the Clerk-Treasurer is hereby authorized to issue vouchers and warrants upon renderin~ of proper statements approved by the Road Committee of this City Thirty days prior to expiration of one year from the ensigning of said contract, compensation and services may be negotiated for the ensuing year. Otherwise services and compensation shall memain as provided herein.
