BE IT ORDAINED By the Council of the City of Fair- lawn, Ohio' Section 1' That it is hereby determined thst it is necessary to the health, safety and general welfare of the City of Fairlawn, Ohio, and its inhabitants and the users of its highways, that the intersection of ?inches ter Road with Fort Island Drive and South Smith road at its intersection with West Market Street, be declared a stop intersection for traffic approaching the said intersections on Winchester Road and South Smith Road at its intersection with West ![arket Street. Section 2- That the operator of any motor vahicle not bringing his vehicle to a complete stop before enterin5 said intersection, shall upon conviction be fined not more than $50.00. Section :9' That the Street Ccmmissioner of the City be and ~e is hereby directed to erect proper siKns at the southeast corner of Winchester Road and at the §outheast corner of South Smith Road in accordance with the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Signals'. to inform said public of the stop requirement as set forth herein. Section 4' Attest' That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary to the Cit.v of Fairlawn and the health and safety of its inhabitants by reason for providin~ for an orderly flow of controlled traffic and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its enactment.
