OFFERED BY' COUNCILMAN FERRY
AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING A PAYMENT OF
$250.00 TO THE STATE FARM MUTUAL INSURANCE
COMPANY AS CONTRIBUTION FOR RELEASES OB-
TAINED ON BEHALF OF THE CIYT IN THE CASE
OF CLARA BULKOWSKI VS. THE CITY OF FAIRLAWN.
WHEREAS, in Case No. #262808~ the Court of
Common Pleas, Summit County, Clara Bulkowski
a passenKer in an automobile, claiming damages
for negligence on the part of ~he City of Fairlawn,
had been neKligent by i~s failure to maintain
North Miller Road in clea~ and open matter and,
WHEREAS~ the S~ate Farm Mutual Insurance Company did
undertake ~hrough i~s attornies all negotiation
for releases as to any possible liability and~
WHEREAS, they made satisfactory settlement for such
injuries as sustained by Clara Bulkowski.
BE IT ORDAINED; by the Council of ~he City of
Fairlawn, Ohio.
Section 1.
That the payment to the S~ate Farm Mutual Insurance
Company in the amount of $250.00 as settlemen~ in full
fop services expended on behalf of the City of
Fairlawn in settlinE the case of Clara Bulkowski vs.
The City of Fairlawn be and the same is hereby
approved.
Section 2.
Tha~ the Clerk-Treasurer of this City is hereby
authorized to issue proper vouchers and warrants in
payment of the same To said insurance company through
William J. Cady, Attorney at Law, Akron Center, I
Cascade Plaza, Akron, Ohio ~~08.
