1971-067 OrdinanceORDINA2~CE NO. 1971- 67 OFFERED BY: MOORE ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE BID OF TONY ZUMBO AND SONS FOR PAVING CERTAIN PORTIONS OF STANLEY ROAD AND SMITH ROAD: APPROVING A CONTRACT TO BE ENTERED INTO THE AMOUNT OF $7~,707.$0. AUTHORIZING THE CLERK AND TREASURER TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EMER- · GENCY. WHEREAS, this Council heretofore determines it necessary to improve certain portions of Stanley Road and Smith Road by paving with concrete together with integral curbs~ storm sewers, sanitary sewers and the extension of water lines and WHEREAS, public advertising was made and bids meceived and WHEREAS, the Council of this City has now de~ermined that the lowest and best bid was received in accordance with this classifications from Tony Zumbo and Sons Company in ~he amount of $73,707.50 BE IT ORDAINED' by the Council of the City of Fairlawn ~ Ohio Section 1: Tha~ the bid of the Tony Zumbo and Sons Company in the amount of $7~707.50 is the lowest and best bid sub- mitted fo~ paving the said ~oads togethe~ with necessary appurtenances thereto, said bid being_, in the total sum of $78,707.50. Section 2- That this omdinanee does hereby accept ~he said bid and does authorize the entering into a contract with the said Tony Zumbo and Sons in the amoun~ of $73,707.50. Section 3' That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer be and they are hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City and further that ~he Cle~k-T~easurer upon presentation of proper estimates of completion approved. by the City Engineer~ may issue proper vouchers and wa~ants in payment of the same.
