WHEREAS: The Safety Committee of this Council has made an extensive study of the duties of the Police Department and their compensation. WHE~~S: Such Committee has now recommended the following schedule of compensation. Ohio: BE IT Oi~d)~INED by the Council of the City of Feirla~n, S~mtt County, Section 1: That effective and beginning the first day of March 1971 the following schedule of compensation shall be psid to the members of the Police Department of the City of Fsirls~na on an snnusl basis, paid in semi-monthly installments. Section 3: Pa ssed: Attest: That this ordinance is hereby determined to be necessary to the health, safety and general welfare of the City by reason of promoting the safety of the City of Fsirla~m, increasing the morale of the Police Department and shall therefore be in full force and effect from and after its enactment.
