1976-127 OrdinanceORDINANCE 1976 - 127 Offered by Mayor Hartlaub AN ORDINANCE SETTING FORTH THE AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL STRENGTH FOR THE DIVISION OF POLICE. WHEREAS, Section 2~$.01 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Fairlawq Ohio sets out that the Division of Police shall consist of a Chief of Police and such other officers and personnel as Council shall from time to time determine. HOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRLAh~N, OHIO- Section 1' The composition and authorized personnel division of Police shall be as follows- strength of the (a) (b) (c) (e) (f) The Chief of Police Three (5) Police Sergeants, one of whom:may be designated "Senior Police Sergeant". Eight (8) Patrolmen One (1) Special Patrolman One (1) Records Custodian-Dispatcher Two (2) Dispatcher-Clerks Such part-time Dispatcher-Clerks as may be authorized by · 'Council fr'om time to time. Section 2- For pay purposes, the term Dispatcher-Clerk in Section 1 above shall be and mean the same as Night Disptacher-Clerk as used in Ordinance 1976-55. (f) Section ~- That it is hereby found and determined that this legislation complies with Section 121.22~ O.R.C. regarding notification of meetings and all deliberations of this Council pertaining hereto have been con- ducted in accordance therewith.
