1976-125 OrdinanceORDINANCE 1976- 125 Offered by Mayor Hartlaub AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1,000.00 FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED INCOME TAX FUND TO THE IT-12 FUND AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, certain claims for income tax refunds have been properly filed with the city- NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRLAWN, OHIO: Section l: There is hereby made a supplemental appropriation of the sum of One Thousand and no/lO0 Dollars (~1,000.00) from unappropriated income tax funds to the IT-12 Fund. Section 2: The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to make appropriate entries hereunder. Section 5: That it is hereby found and determined that this legislation complies with Section 121.22, O.R.C. regarding notification of meetings and all deliberations of this Council pertaining hereto have been con.- duc ted in accordance therewith. Section ~: This ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary to the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City of Fairlawn, Ohio, for the reason that lawful claims for refunds for excess estimated payments of city income tax should be timely paid to claimants therefore., and it shall therefore be in full force and effect from and after its enactment and approval by the Mayor, or at the earliest time allowed by law.
