1976-028A OrdinanceORDINANCE 1976 - 28-A Offered by Mayor Hartlaub A~N ORDINZ~.NCE INCREASING THE COMPENSATION OF THE .BUILDING COMMISSIONER ON FEBRUARY 16, 1976, JANUARY 1, 1977, AND THEREAFTER, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRLAWN, OHIO: Section 1: That the compensation of the Building Commissioner from February 16, 1976, to December 31, 1976, shall be at the annual rate of $2,544.00 and for the calendar year beginning January 1, 1977, and thereafter shall be $2,671.20. Section 2: The Finance Officer of the City of Fairlawn is hereby authorized to issue checks pursuant to Section 1 from funds properly appropriated therefor. Section 3: T-hat it is hereby found and determined that this legis- lation complies with Section 121.22, O.R.C. regarding notification of meetings and all deliberations of this Council pertaining hereto hav,e been conducted in accordance therewith. Section 4: This Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary to the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Fairlawn, Ohio, for the reason that it is imperative that wage scales for employees be adjusted in a uniform manner and it shall therefore be in full force and effect from and after its enactment and approval by the Mayor, or at the earliest period allowed by law.
