1978-075 OrdinanceORDINANCE 1978 - 75 Offered by Mayor Hartlaub APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $20,000.00 FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FUND TO BE USED TO PAY FOR CONSULTANTS TO PREPARE A COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE AND THOROUGHFARE PLAN FOR THE CITY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. UPON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION: BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRLAWN, OHIO: Section 1: There is hereby appropriated from the Capital Improvements Fund, the sum of Twenty Thousand and no/lO0 Dollars ($20,000.00) to pay for the development of a land use and thoroughfare plan. Section 2: The Finance Director is hereby authorized to issue the usual warrants/vouchers and ~o make appropriate entries pursuant hereto. Section ~: That it is hereby found and determined that_ this legislation complies with Section 121.22~ 0.R.C. re~ardin~ notification of meetings and all deliberations of this Council pertainint hereto have been con- ducted in accordance therewith. Section' q: This Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure nec- essary to the health, safety and general welfare of the residents of Fairlawn, Ohio, for the reason that a comprehensive land use and thoroughfare plan has never been developed by the City and it is urgently needed to assist in considerations of the further development of the City and it shall therefore be in full force and effect from and after its enactment and approval by the Mayor.
