AMENDING ORDINANCE 1976-33 "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
AND SUPPLEMENTING THE PAY SCHEDULE FOR NON-POLICE
PERSONNEL IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY."
Section 1: That the compensation of non-police peronnel in the Police
Department for services rendered to the City of Fairlawn,
from and after January 1, 1978, through December 31, 1978,
shall be at the following rates:
Records Custodian Dispatcher
0 - 1 yr. of service
$3.64/hr.
Dispatcher Clerk
0- 1 yr. of service
$ 3.64/hr.
Records Custodian Dispatcher
Over 1 yr. of service
Dispatcher Clerk
Over 1 yr. of service
$3.87/hr.
$3.87/hr.
Part-time Police Clerk
$3.57/hr.
Section 2: That the compensation of non-police personnell in the Police
Department for services rendered to the City of Fairlawn,
from and after January 1, 1979, through December 31, 1979,
shall be at the following rates:

Section 3: T~'~ it is hereby found and determined that this legislation complies
with Section 121.22, O.R.C. regarding notification of meetings and
all deliberations of this Council pertaining hereto have been conducted
in accordance therewith.
Section 4: This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary

to the health, safety, and welfare of the residents of Fairlawn, Ohio,
for the reason that immediate compensation adjustment is required to
provide commensurate increases granted to other city employees and it
shall therefore be in full force and effect from and after its
enactment and approval by the Mayor, or at the earliest period allowed
by law.
